BINFIELD at an international industry event in Vienna!

BINFIELD TEAM took part in the 8th International Conference Fertilizers 2026 (ChemCourier Pricing Agency), held on 20–22 January in Vienna.

At the conference, our team joined the panel discussion “Ukraine in focus: a high-value market at the heart of European fertilizer trade”.
 

Valentin Pervanchuk, Head of Procurement and Logistics at BINFIELD, shared his practical view of Ukraine’s role in the European fertilizer market, the key logistics challenges and opportunities for international cooperation.

For BINFIELD, participation in this event was an important platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience, strengthening the company’s presence in European logistics networks and developing agribusiness in Ukraine.

The discussion covered the key market challenges: 
– constant air raid alerts and strikes on critical infrastructure;
– unstable port operations and disrupted logistics schedules;
– the shortage of nitrogen fertilizers and changing purchasing strategies;
– the shift from sea logistics to land routes;
– early purchases, diversification and the role of border terminals;
– automation and open systems as the only workable path in the new conditions.

The main conclusion reached by all panel participants:
the Ukrainian fertilizer market today is about flexibility, technology and long-term partnership. It keeps working thanks to people who take risks, make difficult decisions and keep supply chains running.
