Phosphorus

Diammonium phosphate DAP NP 18:46

Diammonium phosphate DAP NP 18:46 from Lifosa is a highly concentrated phosphorus fertilizer used in agriculture to stimulate root growth and increase yields. The fertilizer is suitable for a wide range of crops, including cereals, industrial crops, vegetables, fruits and berries. DAP NP 18:46 is most often used as a basal fertilizer applied before sowing, as well as for top-dressing during active growth. The product contains no chlorine, so it is safe for chlorine-sensitive crops. It provides crops with full phosphorus nutrition for the entire growing season, as well as a starter dose of nitrogen and a small amount of sulphur. It can be applied in autumn before ploughing or in spring at sowing or during pre-sowing cultivation. When dissolving in the soil, it temporarily alkalizes the soil solution around the fertilizer granule, promoting better uptake of phosphorus from the fertilizer on acidic soils. Sulphur in the fertilizer also promotes better uptake of nitrogen and phosphorus by plants.

Advantages and properties:

  • Promotes plant resistance to adverse environmental factors and diseases.
  • Contains phosphates in a water-soluble form readily available to plants.
  • Promotes the accumulation of sugars in root crops and fruits.
  • Can be used on all soil types and all crops.
  • Most effective as a basal fertilizer for cereals, forage crops and vegetables, as well as for top-dressing fruit and berry crops in spring and summer.
  • Has excellent physical and chemical properties, which make storage and application easier.
  • Suitable both for basal and at-sowing application and for producing bulk blends.
  • Water-soluble.
  • Can be used in greenhouses.
  • Made from environmentally clean raw materials.
  • Dust-free.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION:

The field crops:

  • at sowing: 70-150 kg/ha
  • basal application before primary tillage 150-400 kg/ha

Vegetables crops:

  • 100-300 kg/ha at sowing (planting), during pre-sowing cultivation or as an early spring top-dressing.

The exact application rate depends on the biological characteristics of the crops and soil and climatic conditions.
