Basfoliar Cereals SL
Advantages and properties:
- increases plant resistance to abiotic and biotic stress (drought, high/low temperatures, waterlogging, soil salinity, herbicide stress);
- enhances protein synthesis in the plant;
- stimulates chlorophyll synthesis;
- improves the root system’s ability to absorb water;
- improves nutrient uptake by the plant;
- has osmoregulatory and cryoprotective properties;
- significantly improves the quality of the harvest;
Nutrients:
Content of nutrients:
Total Nitrogen (N) – 16%
Amide nitrogen (NH2) – 7,3%
Nitrate nitrogen (NO3) – 3,5%
Water-soluble sulphur (S) – 8%
Water-soluble magnesium (MgO) – 4%
Glycine betaine – 5%
Density – 1.25 kg/l
For plants under stress, betaine (glycine betaine) is an important low-molecular compound involved in osmoregulation. Glycine betaine is a natural compound produced by plants themselves in the chloroplasts; it is recognized as an osmolyte — a substance that helps plants retain water, micro- and macronutrients during drought, frost and strong winds.
Basfoliar Cereals SL contains 5% betaine, which enhances the plants’ natural defence properties when applied, and in combination with three forms of nitrogen, sulphur and magnesium significantly improves the quality of the harvest.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION:
Cereal crops:
- tillering stage – 2 l/ha
- beginning of heading – 3 l/ha
Sunflower:
- 2-3 pairs of leaves – 2 l/ha
- star (bud) stage – 3 l/ha
Corn:
- 4-6 leaves – 2 l/ha
- tasselling stage – 3 l/ha
Rapeseed:
- beginning of budding – 3 l/ha
Legumes:
- budding stage before flowering – 2-3 l/ha
At early stages, Basfoliar Cereals SL is applied to strengthen plant immunity against stress; the second application is made during yield formation to improve product quality. Compatible with pesticides and other fertilizers.
